Our policy on dogs 

Welcome to The Ginger Dog! We’re proud to be a dog-friendly establishment, especially since our name was inspired by a very special furry friend. However, we want to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, so please take a moment to review our dog policies outlined below. Thank you for your understanding!

Dogs are welcome in our bistro, however we do ask that they remain in the Outhouse (The large glass room at the rear) or outdoor smoking area!  

Dogs must be kept on leads and off the furniture and sofas 
The reason being, a lot of people take their dogs for walks in the surrounding area and their paws can get a bit mucky 

We do have water bowls accessible outside and in the outhouse, It's our policy to keep them filled with fresh water at all times should these run out, let a member of staff know and we’ll be happy to top them up for you!

Last but not least, let us know we’re expecting your four legged friend, this can be done by leaving a message on the reservation form if booking online or by simply giving us a call. 
Our dog friendly area has limited seating and it has happened in the past where we could not accommodate people and had to advise they return later
